Maps and Directions
Bethel is right next to Danbury, which is on the western border of Connecticut with New York, about 20 miles inland. Click the map below for Windows Live Local maps and driving directions.

If coming from the West, such as New York:
- Take I-84 East to exit 8. Straight off the exit will lead you directly to Route 6, Eastbound.
- Travel 1.7 miles, on Rt 6, and turn right onto Old Hawleyville Rd. at the traffic light.
- Travel 1.3 miles to the second stop sign, and turn right, onto Plumtrees Road. The Orchard is about a tenth of a mile down Plumtrees.
If coming from the East, such as Hartford:
- Take I-84 West to exit 9. Turn left. Travel about 1 mile.
- At traffic light, turn right onto Route 6, Westbound
- Travel 2.0 miles to traffic light, and turn left onto Old Hawleyville Rd. at the traffic light.
- Travel 1.3 miles to your second stop sign, and turn right, onto Plumtrees Road. The Orchard is about a tenth of a mile down Plumtrees.
From Greenwich, Darien, Norwalk, Wilton, New Canaan, Ridgefield and Westport.
Route 7 North to I-84 East to Exit 8. Stay in center lane, go thru traffic light onto Route 6 East, travel 1.7 miles to traffic light, turn right onto Old Hawleyville Road. Travel 1.3 miles on Old Hawleyville to second stop sign. Turn right onto Plumtrees Road, Blue Jay Orchards is 1/4 mile on the right.
OR
Route 7 to Route 107 in Georgetown, turn right onto Route 107 to Route 53 North. Travel Route 53 North into Bethel. At intersection where Routes 53 and 302 meet, turn right onto Route 302, travel 3.1 miles East to Old Hawleyville Road, turn left onto Old Hawleyville Road, go 1 mile to first stop sign, turn left onto Plumtrees Road, we're 1/4 mile on the right.
Merritt Parkway:
At Exit 42, travel north on Route 57 to Route 53, take Route 53 north into Bethel. At traffic light intersection, Routes 53 and 302 meet. Turn right onto Route 302, travel 3.1 miles east to Old Hawleyville Road, turn left onto Old Hawleyville Road, travel 1 mile to first stop sign, turn left onto Plumtrees Road, we're 1/4 mile on the right.
From Westchester County and New York City:
Route 684 North to I-84 East to Exit 8. Stay in center lane, go thru traffic light to Route 6 East. Travel 1.7 miles to traffic light intersection, turn right onto Old Hawleyville Road, travel 1.3 miles on Old Hawleyville to second stop sign. Turn right onto Plumtrees Road, we're 1/4 mile on the right.
From Monroe, Bridgeport, Fairfield and Newtown:
Route 25 to Route 302, left onto Route 302, travel 4.7 miles, turn right onto Old Hawleyville Road. One mile to first stop sign, turn left onto Plumtrees Road, we're 1/4 mile on the right.
From I-84 West, Waterbury, Southbury, Oxford, etc.:
Exit 9, turn left at stop sign and travel to Route 6, go right onto Route 6, to traffic light intersection where Route 6 and Old Hawleyville Road meet. Turn left onto Old Hawleyville Road to second stop sign. Turn right onto Plumtrees Road, we're 1/4 mile on the right.
From Long Island and New York City:
Hutchinson Parkway North - the Hutchinson becomes the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut. Take Route 684 North to I-84 East to Exit 8. Stay in Center Lane, go thru traffic light onto Route 6 East. Travel 1.7 miles to traffic light, turn right onto Old Hawleyville Road. Travel to second stop sign, turn right onto Plumtrees Road, we're 1/4 mile on the right.
